Operation > Mouse selection mode: Use right mouse button (as in NC) - context menu after 1 second

Research direction
The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. Start by reviewing the existing file and directory selection behavior and the context-menu handling, then determine where mouse-button and drag events are processed. Done means right-click dragging selects files and directories, with the context menu appearing after one second as described.
