Description

This is a continuation of #327. On Mac, when any (modal) dialog is open, such as the splash screen or the Command Palette, and the user clicks on the menu, the Quit fman entry is disabled:

That may be justifiable because the dialog is modal. What's not justifiable however is that the menu item then remains disabled even after the dialog was closed:

screen2_cropped

The most likely reason for this is a bug in Qt.

Research direction

No source file or test is identified in the issue. Reproduce the problem on macOS by opening a modal dialog, opening the menu, closing the dialog, and checking the Quit fman entry; then inspect the menu and dialog interaction in the relevant Qt code, with QTBUG-63866 as the starting reference. Done means Quit fman is enabled again after the modal dialog closes.
