Description
On macOs it is easy to accidentally open a lot of Get Info dialogs having selected multiple files and expecting the same behavior as on other OS (single file properties dialog window opened).
Would be nice if confirmation dialog warned user about potential mess on his desktop. And add "never notify again" for more experienced users.

Research direction
No files or tests are named in the issue. Start by locating the macOS Get Info action and the code that handles multiple selected files, then look for existing confirmation dialogs and persistent preference settings. Done means a warning appears before opening many dialogs and users can choose never to see it again.
