Description
Dremio is a new tool, it was just released
https://www.datanami.com/2017/07/19/dremio-emerges-stealth-multi-threat-middleware/
They have drivers and I don't think it should be hard to write for metabase.
I just want to register my suggestion here in case someone want to check the tool and maybe write the driver. I might try to write it.
https://docs.dremio.com/drivers/dremio-jdbc-driver.html
Anyway I've been testing the tool for the past week and they are doing a pretty decent job, by removing the ETLs, and approaching the different datasources connection problem in a great way by providing their own database.
I really believe metabase could benefit from it's technology.
Thanks.

Research direction
The issue links Dremio's JDBC driver documentation but names no Metabase files, tests, or entry point. Start by reviewing the linked driver documentation and locating existing driver integrations; the issue does not define clear acceptance criteria for what a completed Dremio integration should include.
