Description

I want to run the useEffect hook for a slide only when I slide to it. By default, the effect hook runs everytime I swipe between slides. Any ideas?

Research direction

The issue mentions only useEffect and swiping between slides; no file, test, or entry point is provided. First identify the carousel and slide lifecycle entry point, then define whether the expected outcome is guidance or a library change; completion cannot be verified until that scope and acceptance behavior are specified.
