Description
Currently by default new env is blank, but some real world cases are likely to depend on some core env variables as e.g. PATH, TMPDIR etc.
It'll be more friendly to copy original env by default.

Research direction
Locate the overrideEnv implementation and inspect how it constructs the environment for a new process. Verify the current blank-environment behavior, then determine the existing project test entry point for process handling. Done means the default environment includes the original environment variables while preserving any explicit override behavior.
