Expose `id` through public API

Description
Currently to read object's id, we check its__id__ property.
It would be good to introduce a getter id that would resolve __id__. This will allow to retrieve id more naturally, but will still keep it as internal property, additionally user of database for its own case may replace id with some other logic without affecting system internals.
