Description

What would you like to see added to BCD?

i'd like to see compatability data for GNOME Web (Epiphany WebKitGTK). support for web features can be different from Apple Safari

How impactful do you think this enhancement will be?
  • web devs can see what features are supported there
  • maybe less websites may be broken or slow in web
  • websites will also work better in other programs that use WebKit WebViews and embedded devices such as TV boxes that use WPE or GTK
  • those who didn't know about it yet will see that it exists
Do you have anything more you want to share?

Research direction

No file, test, or entry point is named. Start by reviewing how existing browser compatibility data is represented, then determine how GNOME Web (Epiphany WebKitGTK) should be identified and add its support data; done means relevant web features show GNOME Web compatibility without confusing it with Apple Safari.
