Failed to install using easy_install

I'm trying to install via easy_install on ubuntu 12.04

I'm not very familiar with easy_install, any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Start by reproducing the reported easy_install command on Ubuntu 12.04 and reviewing the traceback, then inspect how oplogutils is published and its installation metadata. Done means a fresh environment can install oplogutils successfully without the reported NoneType error.
