Research direction
The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. Start by locating the Unix-domain socket setup and listen path in the Java library, then trace how the socket file is created and identify the existing test structure. Done means callers can specify mode 0600 before listening and a test verifies the resulting socket permissions.
