Description
From the 05/07/2025 document "MC/DC Plans Through the End of CEMeNT" :
ROCm versions 6.1-6.3 all have compiler bugs related to the IR they produce. We have worked with the LC hotline and AMD engineers to have a compiler fix for us however ROCm 6.4 has yet to be released. When it is we will ensure that fix actually works for us and that no further compiler issues have been introduced. This will allow us to use newer more advanced versions of rocprof and will hopefully come with performance improvements for MI300A
