Description

Problem Description

Simpmusic has a clean and lightweight experience, but the lyrics feature and song recommendations could be improved. Lyrics are sometimes unavailable, inaccurate, or not properly synced. The recommendations also don't always match my listening taste as well as Spotify.

Proposed Solution

Improve lyrics accuracy, synchronization, and availability.
Add lyrics translation and pronunciation support.
Improve recommendations using listening history, likes, skips, artists, and genres.
Add options like “More like this” and “Don’t recommend this.”
Introduce a personalized Daily Discover playlist based on the user's taste.

Alternative Solutions

Add a “Play Similar” feature that analyzes the currently playing song and recommends similar tracks, while allowing users to provide feedback to improve future recommendations.
