Description

Has anyone an idea how one could measure the bandwidth when using websocket-stream? Like having a number after a short time, a getter or event that emits me the number.

Could come in very handy for collecting data, especially edge cases why a certain error has happened.

Research direction

The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. Start by reviewing the websocket-stream API and the existing issue discussion to determine what bandwidth should measure and whether a getter or event is expected; the work is done when a specific, agreed measurement interface and its validation are defined.
