Description

`var x = require('browserify')` throws an ugly error

Repro:
1. Navigate to my [example](http://requirebin.com/?gist=0b30a3e47dc6853ccca3e4548d872edd)
2. Let it finish loading
3. Open your browser's console
4. Clear it
5. Click "Run Code"
6. EXPECT no new errors in the console
