Description

Hey Max,

I'm Richie, a guy from New Zealand living in Oslo Norway.

We met at the node school event you and Jessica ran the day after web rebels. (You probably saw a lot of faces that trip)

Anyway,
I'm heading back to New Zealand with my family for an extended period soon and
I'm starting to have some dangerous ideas about organising a nodeconf one shot event. Christchurch isn't a big city and NZ is pretty isolated (I think I remember you saying you had visited?) but I think with enough international speakers, correct pricing, some sponsorship, a one shot could work.

My general question is, as a speaker, what would your expectations be in terms of compensation for speakers? Flights, hotels etc?
