Contract 0x5AEa5775959fBC2557Cc8789bC1bf90A239D9a91 on mainnet seems to be the official WETH implementation. It's not easily found though, there are multiple WETHs and the users should be routed to the official one. It would be great to put this address in the documentation, e.g. in the system contracts section.
