Description
We say it is allowed to be a maximum of 255 bytes and should be namespaced using the Java package naming convention, but we don't disallow things like `*` which would be useful for globbing.

Research direction
Start by locating the event type definition in the Matrix protocol specification and review its existing 255-byte and Java-package-naming rules. Clarify which characters are permitted or forbidden, including whether `*` is reserved for globbing; done means the specification's grammar and examples unambiguously define allowed event types.
