Description
In the process of working out the `.well-known`, it was brought up that the server validation step in that process should not be specific to just `.well-known`, and that it would be better discussed as its own (sub-)section. This would allow it to be referred to by other ways of finding servers, and allow more room for explanation, rationale, etc.

Research direction
Locate the current .well-known section and read its homeserver validation text. Move or restructure the validation discussion as a standalone subsection with enough explanation and rationale to be referenced by other server-discovery methods.
