Description

Submitted by @matthew:matrix.org
Right now we don't return partial matches (other than via stemming) - which is a shame. If I search for Erik i'd expect to receive matches for ErikJohnston too.

Research direction

No file, test, or entry point is named. Start by reviewing this issue and the imported SPEC-277 reference, then identify the specification area governing search behavior. Done means the expected handling of prefixes and boolean queries is defined clearly in the Matrix specification.
