emoji_verification example need work, user to user verification process broken for multiple clients

I'm working on a bot right now. I do not usually ask for help but after many hours I still do not have a working program. I would suggest an example that take into account the sending of a verification and the receiving of a notification in 2 separate method.
This program is the closest I found to what I want, but it does not work everywhere since 2024 : https://github.com/8go/matrix-commander-rs/blob/main/src/emoji_verify.rs
Look like things have changed lately and a proper example would be in order.
