Description
Hi,
I apologize in advance if I'm mistaken here, but after spending more time than I expected investigating why I couldn't make hookshot notify me about actions taken on GitLab issues, I noticed that it actually doesn't seem to support this scenario at all.
I would like to kindly request that you consider implementing this feature. I understand that the bot offers something called "issue room for GitLab", but offhand it doesn't seem to be exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks in advance.

Research direction
Start by reading the existing hookshot notification flow and the GitLab issue room behavior mentioned in the issue. Determine which GitLab issue events are expected to produce notifications and how they should differ from the existing issue-room feature; done means those events are supported and verified with tests or an equivalent demonstrated behavior.
