Description

The README states "This repository contains JSON schema defining analytics events raised by the Matrix client SDKs." It's not quite clear which ones are referred to here, one is left to guess that at most the SDKs in the matrix-org (https://github.com/matrix-org?q=sdk&type=all&language=&sort=) are meant?

It appears that this repo is defacto maintained by Element. For example it is using https://github.com/RiotRobot for some automated tasks.

If this is correct, I would suggest to follow in the footsteps of https://github.com/matrix-org/matrix-js-sdk/pull/4901 and make this sponsorship explicit in the README.

Research direction

Start with the README statement about analytics events and compare the suggested matrix-js-sdk pull request for its sponsorship wording. Done means the README clearly identifies the relevant Matrix SDKs and explicitly states Element's sponsorship, subject to maintainer confirmation.
