Description

It would be better if users that are not marked as from LDAP (without {LDAP} prefix in password) in case of unsuccessful login are not checked in LDAP and message about bad credentials is displayed instead.

Research direction

Start by tracing the unsuccessful-login path described in the issue and identify where users without the {LDAP} password prefix are sent to LDAP. Confirm the existing behavior and authentication tests, if present. Done means such users receive the bad-credentials message without an LDAP lookup, while LDAP-marked users retain their current behavior.
