Description

It would be valuable to know:
- how often calendar is opened/ used
- which period is clicked
- how far back is the clicked date (ie. are users looking often for a particular date eg. 1 month ago?)

Research direction

The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. Start by locating the calendar selector and existing anonymous usage measurement integrations, then determine how calendar opens, period clicks, and clicked-date age should be represented. Done means these three interactions are tracked consistently with the project's privacy and measurement approach.
