Description
I'm receiving the following error in the second step of configuration(System Check):
```
GET request to matomo.php failed. Try whitelisting this URL from HTTP Authentication and disable mod_security (you may have to ask your webhost). For more information about the error, check your web server error log file.
After making this change, restart your web server.
```
i tried to ignore the error and continue with the installation which was fine(meaning i didn't have any additional errors) but matomo doesn't seem to work on my wordpress website
any suggestion how it can be solved ?
PS: i disabled adblocking apps
**solved please ignore this**

Research direction
Start with the Docker-based installation's second-step System Check and the failing GET request to matomo.php. Check the web server error log and the reported HTTP Authentication or mod_security configuration. Done means the request succeeds, installation completes without the warning, and Matomo works on the WordPress site.
