Description

Currently http://feedvalidator.org/ only supports validating by URL. The ability to validate direct input would be useful, too.

The repository is here: https://github.com/rubys/feedvalidator

https://github.com/rubys/feedvalidator/issues/8

Research direction

The issue points to rubys/feedvalidator rather than this repository and references that repository's issue #8. Start by reviewing the linked repository and issue, then determine how direct input should complement URL validation. Done means feedvalidator.org can validate direct input as well as URLs.
