Description

When I open the sidebar on my phone, and then try to pull the main page in from the right, a transparent reprentation of the screen slides over instead, but the sidebar remains and I can't really scroll or do anything else. Tapping the main page fixes it, so it's not too dramatic.

Research direction

No file or test is named. Reproduce the sidebar-open and right-edge pull gesture on a phone-sized viewport, then trace the frontend navigation behavior; done means the main page slides in normally and remains usable without a transparent overlay or stuck sidebar.
