Description
We handle hundreds of requests for the state-mandated Basic Hunter Education course. To help our students, we manage an updated listing at https://www.mass.gov/service-details/basic-hunter-education-course-offerings
We have found that using a Service Detail page with a table of our course offerings was the best way to display the course list.
Unfortunately, tables cause a few headaches-especially for users on mobile devices.
One feature that could help students easily find OPEN vs CLOSED courses is if we could apply a color to the backgrounds of the cells related to the CLOSED courses (an example of how this would look is below).
We don't want the listing to appear as a rainbow. Either a color for CLOSED (dark red? dark orange? light gray?) OR a color for OPEN (light-not bright-green) would be helpful!

Research direction
The issue mentions a Mass.gov Service Detail page and a table of course offerings, but names no implementation files, tests, or entry point. Start by identifying how Service Detail tables are rendered and whether cell background styling is supported; define one OPEN or CLOSED visual treatment and verify it works on mobile.
