While editing user's name the system doesn't allow the operation because the number is already registered with the old name

Describe the bug
i wanted to change the name of the user and i was not able to that because the system used to give an alert on the phone number
i wanted to change the name associated with that phone number but the system didn't allow it

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

Go to 'user displayed profile'
Click on 'profile'
edit name
See error
Expected behavior
the name associated with the preexisting number shall be changed immediately.

Trace where the phone-number duplicate alert is triggered during the edit and confirm whether the existing number is being treated as a new registration. Done means the user's name changes successfully without the incorrect alert.
