Description
[repost from https://github.com/marl/jams/issues/31 ]
It is time to rewrite the dataset parsers, so that they work again with the current JAMS version (v0.2.2?).
- ADC2004Melody
- Billboard
- Isophonics
- JKU Patterns
- MedleyDB
- MIREX05Melody
- Rockcorpus
- SALAMI
- SMC
- TMC323
- CAL500
- CAL10K
- MSD
- IRMAS
- RWC POP (smf midi --> melody only
pitch_midi) - MIDI2JAMS
@bmcfee already (re?)wrote the SMC one, and I'm working on SALAMI and Isophonics.
I'm also gonna assign this to some of you, because my roots come from Spain, and we are used to dictatorship(s) there.

Research direction
Start with the existing parsers and the linked parsers/smc_parser.py, then compare the unchecked dataset parsers against JAMS v0.2.2. The work is done when the remaining listed parsers—such as Billboard, MedleyDB, Rockcorpus, TMC323, MSD, IRMAS, RWC POP, and MIDI2JAMS—work with that version.
