Description

Basic information
  • Release version: 4.3.0
  • System: Mac
  • Capture Device: Viofo A129
Steps to reproduce behavior
  1. capture a video using a Viofo A129 dashcam
  2. drop onto desktop uploader
  3. upload
Expected behavior

I expect the GPS locations for the images in the sequence to match the actual locations

Actual behavior

GPS locations do not match actual image locations.

Corresponding data

See for example this sequence

You can see that the GPS locations "start moving" before the car does.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the Viofo A129 MP4 flow through the desktop uploader and trace how GPS locations are assigned to sequence images. Compare the resulting coordinates with the vehicle's actual movement; done means locations no longer begin moving before the car does.
