Description
My common workflow (whether in Tiled or GIMP) is "select area with mouse, copy with Cmd+C". With expand from centre, that results in copying the wrong area, probably about 30% of the time – because I just happened to hit the Cmd key before I released the mouse button.
I would very much like an option to either disable this or change the keybinding.

Research direction
Start by locating the expand-from-centre selection behavior and the editor's keybinding or settings entry points. Reproduce the Cmd+C workflow described in the issue, then verify that users can disable the behavior or remap its keybinding without accidentally copying the wrong area.
