Description

As far as I can tell

  • when a user is working on map a.tmx and has export to a.lua during current session
  • and save-as to b.tmx
  • on next export, Tiled still remember user was exporting to a.lua, and thus overwrite a.lua without asking.

I think it's more appropriate to reset that (like Tiled would on program restart) and ask user about what filename to export to.

PS: On OS X with Tiled 0.16.1

Research direction

Start by reproducing the reported sequence in Tiled: export map a.tmx to a.lua, use Save As to create b.tmx, then export again. Verify whether the previous export filename is reused and whether the next export instead asks for a destination after Save As.
