Description
Hi
We have used tippecanoe to convert geojson to mbtiles. In few cases, where tippecanoe will run for more than 8 hours. During those scneario, the "-journal" file is not getting deleted and so, the mbtiles becomes corrupt.
So, I ran the sqlite3 mbtilesfile vacuum manually. It fixes the mbtiles corrupt issue and -journal file issue. But when I checked the tilejson data, I see lot of members are missing in metadata.
Can anyone assist on this? Why -journal file is not getting deleted when tippecanoe is running for a long time and why metadata is not getting updated, like format, vector_layers etc are missing.
Please assist.

Research direction
Start by reproducing a tippecanoe conversion that runs for more than eight hours, then inspect the SQLite -journal file and resulting MBTiles metadata. Compare the metadata before and after manually running sqlite3 vacuum; done means the journal is handled correctly and fields such as format and vector_layers are preserved.
