How does the tippecanoe manage duplicate records in multiple GeoJSOn file?

I am trying to create pbf files using Tippecanoe from multiple GeoJSON files. There are some symmetric records in these files. I want to make sure that Tippecanoe considers the record in the final file.
Can you help me get through that?
