Description
I think my server has the appropriate settings in the pg_hba.conf to let user postgres access the DB automatically. But unfortunately I get a
`psycopg2.OperationalError: fe_sendauth: no password supplied` when running. So it would be nice to be able to authenticate with password.

Research direction
Start by locating the code that connects to PostgreSQL and reviewing how its connection settings relate to pg_hba.conf. Reproduce the psycopg2.OperationalError: fe_sendauth: no password supplied failure, then define and verify a supported password-authentication path for the postgres user.
