Description

On the debug tool. It's a bit unwieldy to use the mouse to simulate vehicle movement. It is impossible to position the start point, switch tabs to take notes, and then come back to your map because chance are your mouse as moved in the process.

  • Can a single click position the start point and then use arrow keys to control the start position from there?
  • How do you position the end point?

Research direction

Start with the debug tool at the linked URL and inspect how mouse input currently positions the start and end points. Clarify the intended interaction for the end point with maintainers before changing anything; done should include click-to-place behavior, arrow-key movement for the start point, and a defined way to position the end point.
