Description

Currently to use postgis-enabled postgres you need to install both packages and this triggers a source build of postgis on top of the postgres directory. An improvement would be to have mason install postgis just pull down a binary of all of postgres+postgis instead of triggering a source compile.

This will make setup simplier: https://gist.github.com/springmeyer/f8bc66ea9e6731468a20

Research direction

Start by tracing how mason install postgis currently resolves packages and triggers the PostGIS source build. The requested outcome is for that command to retrieve a binary containing both PostgreSQL and PostGIS, with setup no longer compiling PostGIS; the issue names no files or tests to guide implementation.
