Research direction

No source files, tests, API version, SDK version, expected behavior, or actual behavior are provided. Start by reproducing the Android flow: zoom out, move to a distant location, and tap the recenter button. Done means the button reliably returns the map to the user's location, with the relevant SDK versions and reproduction details documented.
