Description

Reefs disappear at certain zooms along the North Eastern Coast of Australia. This is a world famous landmark and is visited by millions of people every year. This bug would definitely deter developers like myself from using these maps in any production marine application.

Research direction

Reproduce the disappearing reefs in the map styles used by mapbox-gl-styles, focusing on the North Eastern Coast of Australia and the zoom levels shown in the attached screenshots. Since no source file or test is identified, first locate the style and layer data responsible for the reefs; done means the reefs remain visible at the affected zooms.
