Description
There is currently no simple way to dynamically change the value of the style's `transition` property. Most (all?) of the other root properties that have values worth changing (pitch, center etc) have methods to do so, but there's no `setTransition()`.
The workaround seems to be:
```
const style = map.getStyle();
style.transition = { delay: 0, duration: 1000} ;
map.setStyle(style);
```

Research direction
Start by comparing the requested setTransition() method with the existing methods for root properties such as pitch and center, and inspect how map.getStyle() and map.setStyle() handle the style transition property. Done means callers can dynamically change the transition value through a dedicated method instead of replacing the full style.
