Description

I am working with most.js stream framework to catch mapbox events in streams and stumble on this (since I got the message in my browser)
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/39152877/consider-marking-event-handler-as-passive-to-make-the-page-more-responive

So are passive event listeners implemented yet in mapbox gl js?

Research direction

Start by tracing how mapbox-gl-js registers browser event listeners and compare the behavior described in the issue with current browser guidance for passive listeners. Done means the relevant listeners are handled without the reported browser warning while preserving event behavior; the payload names no specific files or tests.
