### Question
Based on your examples it should be easy to show 3D buildings on Mapbox maps.
On your examples page the data comes from the source `composite` wich (presumably?) comes from your style `mapbox://styles/mapbox/light-v10`.
Is it possible to access these 3D buildings on a custom style.json? (Not created with [Mapbox Studio](https://docs.mapbox.com/help/tutorials/add-3d-buildings-studio/))
Mentioning this in your example would be great! Thanks.

Research direction
Start with the linked “Display buildings in 3D” example and its use of the composite source and light-v10 style. Check whether the documentation explains using the 3D-building data with a custom style.json. Done means the example or related documentation clearly answers that question and identifies the required source or configuration.
