Research direction

Start by reviewing the terrain and polygon-area APIs in the v2.6.1 documentation and examples. Determine whether dynamically assigning polygon elevation is supported, and identify the documented API or limitation that answers the question. Done means providing a verified usage path or clearly documenting that the capability is unavailable.
