Description
If I leave an already rendered map in an idle tab and return to it after a few minutes, there's a long lag in not seeing the map rendered to the screen.

Research direction
No source file or test is named. Start by reproducing the delayed rendering in Chrome 96 with Mapbox GL JS 2.7.0-alpha.1, leaving an already rendered map idle for several minutes and reviewing the linked recording. Done means the map renders promptly when returning to the tab, with a regression test if the relevant test location can be identified.
