Description

Imported from the engineering backlog (_bmad-output/implementation-artifacts/backlog.md, story star-falling).
Priority P3 (do-first order) | Status: open work (see row) | Type: design-decision | Recorded: 2026-07-15

Problem / motivation

PARKED epic, spec-first; row created 2026-07-15 because gdd-classic-modern-pricing-roadmap claims it exists. Modern-only: star ratings can fall within bounds (grace window, only un-earned stars, never TOWER). Epic-sized, needs its own gdd-/arch- docs; the room's standing caution is that it opens the should-rating-fall can (evaluateStar only ratchets up today). Resurrect via a party, not a rider.

Research direction

Start with the star-falling row in _bmad-output/implementation-artifacts/backlog.md and inspect the current evaluateStar behavior referenced by the issue. This is a parked, epic-sized design task: progress requires defining the bounded falling-star rules in dedicated gdd-/arch- documentation and resolving whether to resurrect it through a party.
