Description
On many streams, switching alternate audio tracks consistently results in loss of audio (either temporarily or permanently), frozen video or a mixture of both, and occasionally corruption or loss of video (see below).
This issue appears to affect both live and VOD streams, and can be seen in all browsers, including Chrome, Edge and Firefox on Windows, plus the stand-alone Flash Player; tested using the Flashls OSMF SWC.

Research direction
Start by reproducing the issue with the alternate-audio playlist at the example URL using the Flashls OSMF SWC, testing both live and VOD behavior where available. Compare audio switching in the listed browsers and Flash Player; done means switching tracks no longer causes audio loss, frozen or corrupt video, or video loss.
