#EXT-X-BYTERANGE not working.

Hello -

So I've tried all day to get something going using byteranges. I've finally given up understanding that flash cannot do this. Is that correct?

Very little evidence out there, but I did find this:

...which indicates that Flash cannot send the header that would be required for a byterange request. Does that mean that the #EXT-X-BYTERANGE is really not supported?

For the record, I do know the byte-range requests work, as they are going just great with IOS native player. Same URL sent to any flash player with flashls does not send that header (checked console messages in browsers as well as logs on webserver [nginx]).

Thanks for a great project - I hope I'm wrong or have over-looked something obvious.
