Description

The more things I add, the slower the page becomes. I suspect that most of the slowdown comes from the fact that the server has to perform heavy calculations on the racedays as well as load from disk every single request. It would be better if this information could be cached in memory instead, and updated only when data is written.

Research direction

Start by tracing the server request path that calculates racedays and loads data from disk, then identify where data is written. The work is complete when repeated requests use in-memory state and writes update that state without stale results.
