dispatch() Returns Exception Object Instead of HTTP Response in App BaseViewSet

Current behavior

When I trigger any unhandled exception in a ViewSet endpoint, the WSGI server receives a raw Python exception object instead of an HTTP Response and I see the error message attached below:

AssertionError: .accepted_renderer not set on Response

What I expect is a properly formatted JSON error response. This bug appears in two separate dispatch() methods in the same file.

Steps to reproduce

1. Trigger any unhandled exception in a ViewSet endpoint (e.g. a KeyError in a POST handler)
2. Observe the server crashes the response pipeline instead of returning a 500 JSON
3. See error
